SOL LAVANTE | MILANO DESIGN WEEK
April 2024

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2024, Galleria Rossella Colombari presents SOL LEVANTE.

The exhibition project reflects on the Japanese philosophy of living and explores the desire to create an harmonious space, composed by design elements with pure straight lines, functional character and essential aesthetics.

Selection and installation, curated by Rossella Colombari, are in continuous dialogue, creating a sense of continuity by shedding light on the history of design and architecture through the work of 20th century Italian design Masters, including: a unique bed by Ettore Sottsass designed in the 1990's, a rare pair of wall lamps by Angelo Lelii for Arredoluce, a studio furniture by Marco Zanuso designed in the 1950's for a private commission, collectible lighting by Vico Magistretti, Afra&Tobia Scarpa and Ingo Maurer. And selected ceramics by Bruno Gambone and Antonio Marras.
